Meier
has been
teaching in Hertfordshire since 1982. He is currently Head of Languages at
Verulam School in St Albans, an
11-18 non-selective boys' school. He is an Advanced Skills Teacher and works
closely with the County Advisory service developing resources and providing
training and support for MFL teachers in the county. He also worked for five
years as visiting teacher-tutor on the PGCE Languages course at the University
of Hertfordshire. He is a keen classroom practitioner and actively promotes
the use of drama and ICT in language-lessons. He has co-written Expo 1 &
2, published by Heinemann.
